2011 Community Planting Days
This year our North Shore Community Parks team will be responsible for the planning and running of 6 community planting days which are being held on behalf of the Auckland Council at various parks and reserves around the North Shore.
Operations Manager, Karen Williamson, and her 2-I-C Michael Budd share responsibility for the planning, organising and managing of the days and are supported by their team members, and many other Recreational Services staffers who turn up as volunteers at each event. As usual the Recreational Services BBQ truck will be at each planting and ‘Chief cook and bottle washer’, Clive Turner, will ensure the BBQ is well stocked and hot sausage sarnies are ready for all to enjoy.
